"Becoming One Flesh" is not just another checklist for engaged couples. Instead, it is a thoughtfully designed journey—a formation program that seeks to bridge the perennial gap between marital idealism and the daily realities faced by modern couples. Rooted deeply in Christian theology, yet sensitive to the complexities and challenges of contemporary life, this comprehensive guide speaks to both the heart and the intellect.
"Becoming One Flesh" is divided into a series of modules, each created to focus on a key area of married life. While adaptable for different settings—such as parish group sessions, individual coaching, or online courses—its structure provides a comprehensive formation experience.
"Becoming One Flesh" allows engaged couples to grow in readiness before celebrating their vows. These modules are carefully prepared with highly relevant topics that open the doors for engaged couples to understand the essence of marriage and how to harness intimacy and grow spiritually. Anchor offers a healing environment for addressing emotional, spiritual, relational, and past hurts, as well as rebuilding broken trust, for engaged couples.
As is often the case, past life experiences influence the present relationship. It could be unresolved childhood experiences, betrayal in past relationships, or lack of commitment or trust in the current relationship. Many engaged couples enter into a relationship or continue planning for a wedding while unresolved issues bleed into their relationship. Not knowing where to find remedies for personal and relationship problems can devastate and leave the relationship struggling.
Becoming One Flesh solves personal and relational issues before the wedding. An opportunity to seek God’s healing, align with His Will, and be on the pathway of flourishing into the sacrament of marriage.

Discovering Love with Clarity can be accessed through two methods: The Hybrid, which is in-person and online. Usually, a hybrid is a cohort where participants take the course together. Some hybrid classes are completed in-person and online, offering the needed flexibility. Another format is "Fully Online" –for people who want to complete the program at their own pace, any time and anywhere. Both formats offer the needed environment for growth while receiving the program to discern marriage and relationships.

Get to Know the Presenter
Rev. Dr. Kingsley Nwoko, STL, Th.D, is an ordained Roman Catholic Priest for ministry in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. He is a passionate and charismatic priest who loves being a priest and providing pastoral accompaniments to those called to the vocation of marriage.
Fr. Kingsley holds a Licentiate degree in Sacred Theology of Marriage and Family from the Pontifical Institute of John Paull II for Studies on Marriage and Family at Vatican City, Rome. He also has a doctorate in Sacred Theology from Pontifex University, Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in Marriage and Family.
He is the Founder of Lumina School of Love, a Center for Marriage Formation and Pastoral Accompaniment of the Domestic Church. Lumina School of Love provides integrative and holistic formation for the vocation to marriage. Fr Kingsley is the author and facilitator of "Before the Vows," "Discovering Love with Clarity," "Love on Flames, etc., programs created with the framework of Catechumenal Pathways for Married Life, currently in implementation in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. He also volunteers his expertise with the Office of Family Life, Office of Young Adults, and Campus Ministry of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
Fr Kingsley taught Theology of Family Life as an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas, Houston, at the Center of Faith and Culture.
